You are in luck if you are looking for a movie to watch, Kai Po Che is one of the best movies released in 2013. It has everything you could ever want in a Bollywood movie. Drama, thriller, romance, comedy - it's all there in this amazing film! The story follows three friends through their lives set during and after the Gujarat riots of 2002. What makes this film unique is that their friendship transcends religion and caste; they simply share a deep love for each other and enjoy each other’s company despite an overriding sense of dread and impending doom at every turn. The film is about the friendship of three friends, Raju (Salman Khan), Ravi (Amitabh Bachchan) and Vijay (Prachi Desai). They belong to different castes and religions: Raju and Ravi are Hindu while Vijay is Muslim. As members of the lower-caste, they utilise their privilege to get away with doing things they would not normally be allowed to do in traditional societies. They get into trouble with Vijay's mother after stealing her jewellery and rob a train. The friendship between the three men grows stronger as they become aware that an impending riot is likely to engulf their city of Ahmedabad if they fail to stop it. The friendship of the trio is tested to the limit when they are caught up in a riot. They are tied up together, their hands and feet tied to each other's. The last person arrested is let go with his hands tied together, all that they have to do is be at the railway-station at 4 o'clock. Raju lets go of one hand of his three friends after he was given a chance to free himself by Vijay's mother, who had earlier pitied him for being forced to wear women's clothes. This goes against what Ravi has always preached; "always help your friends". By chance, Vijay and Raju escape the riot control and escape the city with Ravi's mother. With their mothers as hostage, they run away from Vijay's mother, who decides to follow with her son as she cannot leave him behind. Wherever they go, their mothers go as well, bringing disaster to whatever place where they stay. They come across Janardhan (Neeraj Vora) and his wife Shona (Sonal Sayyad). After a series of narrow escapes and misfortunes, all hell breaks loose when they reach a hospital that has been set up as a refugee camp for those who have been affected by the rioting. There, they meet Mohammed (Vineet Kumar Singh) and his sister Hina (Kamna Jethmalani). Janardhan is an old man who lost everything in the riot. Highly respected in the community, he is also rude with everyone around him. He refuses to let anyone on the property of his shop for rent, giving them an ultimatum of 24 hours, or being evicted. Vijay finds out that Janardhan's wife had left him after they came to this city, but he did not want her to go so far away so she could not return. cfa1e77820
